Zada Swoopes of West Texas A&M repeated as women's discus throw winner with a fifth-round performance of 186-6 (56.84m) at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Swoopes, the first female athlete in the division to win consecutive discus and shot put titles since Janet Hill of Cal State Los Angeles in 1993-94, also secured fourth place in the hammer throw final with a 191-5 (58.35m) performance to contribute to a women's team title for the first time since 2017 with 77 points.
